Welcome to Bellebird flax design where we specialise in making creative designs to suit any theme or occasion.

Bellebird flax was created by Stacey Nicholas who has a background in floristry and an interest in working with natural fibers.

I learnt my first flax flower working at a florist in Nelson, since then , working with flax has turned into a hobby.
Since starting bellebird flax, i have ran workshops and have my art in Various florists and galleries in the south island.

With gathering the harakeke ( flax) the traditional protocol is used.
Flax is such an amazing fibre to work with.
